All of our meetings our free and are open to the general public.
In place of our regular meeting on Monday, March 24th, we will join Texas Rotaract and the Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club on a joint service project to assemble snack packs for The Other Ones Foundation, an Austin nonprofit supporting unhoused individuals. We'll focus on soft, easy-to-eat items like water, soft bars, tuna, and sweets.
Instead of our usual meeting place (Shoal Creek) and meeting time, we will meet at 5PM at the UT campus in Benedict Hall (BEN 1.122), located at 150 W 21st St, Austin, TX 78712. It is on the South Mall. There should be plenty of parking at the UT garages. There are 3 garages close to Benedict Hall:
- AT&T Convention Center (garage is CCG on the UT map). It is at 1900 University Ave, Austin, TX 78705. It is beneath the conference center.
- Rowling Hall Garage (RHG on the UT map) at 1907 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX 78705
- Brazos Garage (BRG on the UT map) at 210 E. MLK Blvd, , Austin, TX 78712. It is across from the Blanton Museum
The UT parking map (with Benedict Hall and parking highlighted) is attached to this calendar event, but the
https://parking.utexas.edu/maps/visitors official UT parking map is here.
Please don't miss this opportunity to spend time with our Rotaract Club and our Cosmo friends, and to do some hands on service work.
