Color Run for Accelerated Readers at JJ Pickle Elementary

On Friday, March 28^th (the week after Spring Break) at 1:00 PM, JJ Pickle Elementary is having a Color Run for Accelerated Readers.  Accelerated Readers is a program at JJ Pickle where students get rewarded 4 times a year by reading enough books to reach 12 points during that period.  Each book is assigned different points based on grade and level of reading comprehension required for the book.

 

At the color run, students run around the track, and we throw colored powder on them!  It is a lot of fun, but please wear a white shirt (because you will get powder on you, too) and a hat (because it will be hot.). I will bring our name tags.  Please come early (hence the 12:15 start time) to check in at the front office so they can log you as a visitor. 

 

We are a long time supporter of JJ Pickle, including the Bookspring program that provides some of the books for the Accelerated Reading program.
