What is the Classification Talk? Each new Rotary member or transferee is asked to give a "classification talk" after they have been in our Club for 1 - 6 months. You were assigned a classification when you joined relating to your business and position. This is your chance to tell members about yourself and your business. It shouldn't be a big chore because you should already know all the answers. Please make this Classification Talk your own and truly representative of you.

Aug 19, 2024 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
On Monday, August 19th at 6:30 PM, we will hold an in person club meeting, our speaker will be Ryan Keys, who is the President of Triple Crown Resources.
Methane is the second-leading contributor to climate change after carbon dioxide but is a far more potent greenhouse gas. Unlike carbon dioxide, which can remain in the atmosphere for centuries, methane is a “short-lived climate pollutant” that stays in the atmosphere for approximately 12 years. The EPA has radically underestimated the amount of methane emissions.
Most oil and gas properties sell methane (natural gas), but they also leak a lot of methane. Ryan Keys will discuss this situation and how his company has found and remediated methane leaks and sold the resulting natural gas for a profit.
Our meeting will be held at Shoal Creek Saloon, located at 909 N. Lamar Blvd. This will be a very interesting program, we encourage you to invite family, friends, and colleagues to join us.
About Ryan Keys,
Ryan Keys is president of Triple Crown Resources, which he co-founded in 2017 with Nathan Pekar. Previously, Ryan was a senior vice president in Energy Investment Banking at Jefferies, where he was involved in over $25 billion in M&A transactions. He also served in roles at another E&P, a reserves consultancy, and Schlumberger. Ryan has a BS in mechanical engineering from UT Austin and an MS in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M.
