About Tom
Over his 30-year career, Mr. Loomis has worked actively within a wide range of civil engineering disciplines including site and subdivision development, flood analysis and remediation design, and water and wastewater utilities analysis and design. He is expert in the use of hydrologic and hydraulic software, and with analysis and design of drainage systems, flood conveyance and detention facilities, highway drainage, and stormwater quality systems. Prior to establishing Saxon Loomis, he was CEO of Loomis Partners for 20 years, a civil engineering, land surveying and environmental consulting firm in Austin.

About Anna
Anna Westbrook is a Composer, Playwright, and Musical Theatre Producer working out of Austin, TX. Her organization, Isabel & The Runaway Train runs online trainings, musical theater events, and professional development programs to teach people to support survivors of sexual maltreatment. And they do it all while pretending to be on a train. Anna has a unique ability to combine music theory and social theory, which fuels her knack for addressing emotionally charged topics without fear, guilt, or shame.
Isabel & the Runaway Train is a contemporary jazz/folk musical that teaches people to support survivors of sexual maltreatment. Isabel Creator Anna Westbrook is proud to announce that the show returns to the stage as part of the City of Austin’s prestigious Artist Access Program from April 21st - 30th, 2022. During the COVID - 19 pandemic, Anna and her team pivoted to online learning through the release of their on demand course "Get Isabel Certified," which features TED - talk style educational content combined with footage of the Isabel show. Anna is excited to share more about both her upcoming staged production and her online learning program with the Austin University Area Rotary Club

About Jerry
Jerry is a native Texan. He was born in Dallas where he spent a majority of his childhood. At age 16, his parents relocated their business to Mineral Wells, Texas where he graduated from high school. After high school, he began his engineering studies and also joined the Naval Reserve. During his junior year of studies, he was called to active duty. After discharge from the Navy, Jerry returned to Dallas and completed his engineering studies at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a graduate of the Anglican School of Theology and serves as a bi-vocational Episcopal Priest in Austin. Jerry held management positions in finance and engineering with two large technology firms. Following the death of his wife, Jerry shifted careers. He became a Certified Financial Planning practitioner. Jerry joined the Rotary Club of North Shore Lake Travis in 2005. He served as a director, TRF Chair and president of the club. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Cedar Park[1]Leander. At the district level, Jerry has served as the District Roll of Fame Chair, Assistant Governor, District Secretary, Annual Fund Chair and District Governor. Currently he is the District Rotary Foundation Chair. He has been a facilitator in the Rotary Leadership Institute, and Lonestar PETS. He is a Paul Harris Society member and a Major Donor. Jerry is married to Jonelle Miller-Chapman, a retired Leander ISD teacher. Jonelle enjoys avocational archeology and is a member of the Texas Archeological Society. She is a Paul Harris Fellow and Major Donor. Jonelle is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Jerry’s son lives in Austin. His daughter’s family with two grandchildren reside in the Boston area.

About Ann
A native Texan, Ann is a proud Longhorn, mom, wife, and community leader. Ann began her career by writing drug, crime, and juvenile justice legislation for Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Joseph Biden. She served as the inaugural Executive Director for the Austin region's Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO) (2011-19), working with government, business, and civic leaders to solve Austin's homelessness challenge. In 2020, Ann was elected to the Travis County Commissioners Court. Additional ways Ann has served her community through the years include chairing One Voice Central Texas (100+ local health and human service organizations), defending teens in Travis County juvenile court, and chairing the board of and working for Austin nonprofit Any Baby Can. Ann has also led fundraising for Citizen Schools of Texas, served as President of the Murchison Middle School PTA, and was named Austin ISD Mentor of the Year. Ann is a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church (was Council President and serves as an adult Sunday School leader).
Ann received her bachelor’s, law degree and master’s in public affairs from UT Austin. She is a Texas Exes Life Member, a member of the honorary Friar Society, assisted in the formation of the Texas Exes’ Forty Acres Scholarship initiative, helped found Longhorn Women Leaders, served on the Women’s Athletic Council, and has been active in Orange Jackets and Chi Omega Sorority alumni efforts.

About John
John D. Shepperd is a sixth generation Texan, born in Austin and raised in San Antonio. After high school in San Antonio, he graduated from University of Texas in Austin with a degree in American Studies. Although Shepperd learned to hunt and fish at an early age, it was during college when the writings of Edward Abbey, Thoreau, John McPhee, and Aldo Leopold really shaped his appreciation for the natural world. After college, Shepperd worked as a Policy Analyst at the Texas Capitol, then joined the Texas A&M University System as a Research Associate in the departments of Forest Science, Rangeland Ecology and Management, and Agricultural Economics. He planted trees, worked in a laboratory, restored coastal habitat, modeled financial impacts of flood events, surveyed wetlands and saltwater marshes, built the first nursery in Texas dedicated to growing dune plants, and worked as a liaison between the Army Corp of Engineers, TAMU Department of Agriculture Economics, and dozens of South Texas ranchers and farmers.
In 2014, John joined Blackridge Governmental Affairs, once again back in the political arena. During the 84th Session, he worked on a multitude of projects, including analyzing and tracking legislation, educational outreach, fundraisers, PAC spending, office communications, and lobby team coordinating and strategy.
John then became the Executive Director of the newly formed Texas Foundation for Conservation and the Texas Coalition for Conservation where he focuses on political, educational, and grassroots outreach of conservation. |

As the Executive Director and President of Variety of Texas, Stacy has set her sights on creating a brighter future and impacting the quality of life for those children and families in living with special needs. Stacy holds a Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Child Development from the University of Texas at Austin. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Alliance of Child and Family Services, Hope House of Austin and other nonprofits. Over the last 30 years, Stacy has demonstrated a commitment to her community through volunteering with organizations such as Special Olympics, Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation, Austin Fit, Austin Flyers, Hospice Austin and Communities in Schools. She is an alumnus of Leadership Austin, 2011. An avid athlete, Stacy enjoys training for competing in endurance sports. Her most beloved job is that of mom to her 17-year-old daughter. About Ron Lantz
Ron was born in Burchard, Nebraska to Raymond and Helen on May 26, 1936, and was the youngest of two sons. He grew up working on the family farm where he learned the value of hard work—something that would drive him throughout his life. He graduated from Pawnee City High School in 1953, and during these school years, enjoyed playing football and basketball and competing as a member of the track and field team. High school is also where he met the love of his life, Donna June Hess.
Ron and Donna were married in 1954. Ron attended college at the University of Nebraska where he graduated in 1960 with Bachelors and Masters degrees in chemical engineering. He then went to Iowa State University where he received a PhD in chemical engineering in 1963. After graduation, Ron began his professional career at Exxon (then Standard Oil of New Jersey) in Tulsa, OK. He relocated to Houston, TX in 1964, and in the early 1970s, left Exxon to begin a career as a consulting engineer. In 1974, Ron founded INTERA, an environmental consulting firm. He moved INTERA to Austin, TX in 1985, and continued to lead the company until retiring in 1996. For Ron, retirement meant shifting his energy to charitable endeavors. He was a regular volunteer at Meals on Wheels Central Texas, and held an annual charity golf tournament that benefitted organizations focused on feeding the elderly. Ron was a long-time member of the University Area Rotary Club and contributed to a number of programs, including efforts to end polio in Africa. He was also a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Austin. Ron is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Helen, brother Richard, and nephew Jon Lantz. Those left to share memories include his wife Donna; sons Kevin and wife Arlene, Kent and wife Mary Alice, and Bret and wife Tara; sister-in-law Gerry Lantz Steele; niece Judy and husband John Weaver; nephew Jeff Lantz; granddaughters Rachel and husband Brad Hull, Emily and husband Bud Swindler, and Kara; grandsons Bret II and Brady; great grandsons Cooper and Preston Hull; and a large extended family. About Courtney
Courtney is the Development Director. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas State University and is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Courtney has more than 10 years of experience in early childhood and 9 years of experience in fundraising and event management. Courtney began her experience at Sammy’s House in 2009, as an after-school teacher then graduated to become a summer Camp Coordinator. Her love for working with children of all abilities lead her to a career in non-profit development where she could expand her impact on the community she loves. As the Development Director, Courtney cultivates donors, coordinates fundraisers, and connects with the community to spread the message of inclusion, diversity, and the value of individuals of all abilities.

About Joanne
When Joanne retired from UT-Austin, she said she was going to put her time where her money is. She has been active in the Austin nonprofit scene for many years.
Joanne was a founding member and president of Common Ground for Texans and now on the steering committee of Braver Politics, and Vice-Chair of Ranked Choice Voting for Texas.
The Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center (RCVRC) is a division of the Election Administration Resource Center, a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. RCVRC provides information, research, and tools to teach the public about ranked-choice voting.

About Laura,
Laura Esparza is the Division Manager of the Museums and Cultural Programs Division for the Austin Parks and Recreation Department. In that capacity, she manages 11 museums and cultural centers with 18 programs in theater, dance, visual arts, film and arts education, managing a staff of 173 full and part-time employees and a $7 million budget. She oversees the management of museums such as the Elisabet Ney Museum, a HAHS member, and is currently assisting with the development of the residence of sculptor Charles Umlauf as the contract manager for the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum. She as worked as a professional arts administrator, facility planner, and organizational consultant for the last 30 years.

About Kareece,
Kareece Sacco is the Executive Director of the Austin-based, international nonprofit, Well Aware. Her tenure as an intern at Well Aware led her to a full time position as the organization’s Director of Operations after a career in the biotech industry. Her passion for international development, combined with her commitment to excellence, earned her the most executive leadership position at Well Aware after just two years.
Prior to graduating from UT-Austin with a focus in Geography and Business, Kareece spent her youth on frequent humanitarian missions in overlooked communities in the U.S. She found her passion for philanthropy at an early age, and she continues to approach her leadership with a lens of community involvement and pragmatism. As one of the youngest executives in the water charity sector, Kareece has already earned a certification in Sustainable Development Goal 6, been quoted in national publications, is a member of the Rural Water Supply Network, Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Austin, and a Leadership Austin alumni..
